One of the most beloved celebrity couples, pop singer Joe Jonas and actor Sophie Turner shocked their fans with news of their separation. Despite the joint statement expressing an ‘amicable’ decision to part ways, tensions escalated when they entered a bitter custody battle for their daughters, Delphine and Willa.
However, a later development revealed that the two reached a “temporary custody agreement” for the remainder of 2023.
Amidst the chaos, reports have emerged that Jonas obtained a striking new tattoo that talks about being “broken”. During a Jonas Brothers concert in Edmonton, Alberta, on Tuesday night, several new tattoos adorned his body, with one standing out for its cryptic nature.
According to Page Six, the fresh tattoo featured poet William Stafford’s quote, “I have woven a parachute out of everything broken.” The quote was inscribed in all capitals and positioned on the inside of his arm. It’s said that he also got another tattoo on his chest featuring his daughters’ birthdates.
Turner and Jonas got married at a Las Vegas wedding chapel on May 1, 2019, after the Billboard Music Awards, Associated Press reported. The wedding was live streamed by Diplo on Instagram. The two filed for divorce on September 5 after being married for four years. Jonas’ divorce filing said “the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken” and also sought joint custody of the girls.

Their statement announcing separation read, “Statement from the two of us. After four wonderful years of marriage, we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage. There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.”
However, Jonas decided to dismiss his divorce case in Miami after he and Sophie Turner reached an agreement on how to handle custody of their children for the rest of the year. The custody arrangement will extend until January 7, 2024.
Amid the legal battle, fans noticed that Sophie Turner and Priyanka Chopra unfollowed each other. Priyanka is married to Joe’s brother Nick. Sophie and Priyanka shared a warm relationship previously but it looks like things have gone sour now.
