How do the big Bollywood Diwali parties unfold? Filmmaker Farah Khan has given a sneak peek into one as she spilled beans on fashion designer Manish Malhotra’s grand Diwali bash.
The designer is known to host Diwali parties every year, where the biggest of celebrities from the film industry show up. In an interview with Bharti TV, Farah Khan said at his parties, Manish gives clothes to everyone, who then return it the next day.
“At Manish’s party, he had given clothes to everyone. But woh humne next day return kar diye (we returned them to next day),” Farah revealed as the hosts Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa appeared shocked.

“Everyone tells him that they are coming so if he can please make an outfit for them. But in a way, it is good for Manish also, because people are able to see his designs. It is almost like a fashion show with A-listers wearing his clothes and coming,” Farah added.
This year, Manish Malhotra’s Diwali bash saw guests like Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Rekha, Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, Janhvi Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, rumoured couple Ananya Panday and Aditya Roy Kapur among others.
On the work front, Farah last directed the 2014 comedy Happy New Year, headlined by Shah Rukh Khan. According to reports, the filmmaker is now working on multiple projects including developing scripts for Shah Rukh’s Red Chillies, T Series and Rohit Shetty.
