Katrina Kaif got together with the Kaushals — Vicky, Sunny, and Veena to celebrate Sham Kaushal‘s birthday on Friday. Katrina shared a glimpse of the celebration on social media where she joined her husband Vicky in making her father-in-law Sham’s day special.

In the photo shared by Katrina, the action-director Sham is seen blowing the candles on his two birthday cakes with his wife Veena at their home in Mumbai. The couple is joined by their two sons, Vicky and Sunny, and daughter-in-law Katrina. For the cake cutting, Katrina opted for a traditional kurta and Vicky wore a yellow t-shirt and blue denim.

As Kaushal cut the cake, Katrina looked at him adorably with a bright smile. Vicky stood beside his father and had his arms around Katrina and Sham. Katrina captioned the photo, “Happy birthday papa” and drew a heart along with it.

Katrina was recently seen in the spy-thriller, Tiger 3 along with Salman Khan. Her action sequences in the film found her an admirer in her father-in-law. In a recent interview with India Today, Katrina revealed, “The love and support I have got from my family is just so special. Sham ji, my father-in-law, is a very senior action director, so he was the happiest to hear praises for Zoya’s action scenes. He said, ‘You have made me very proud. Everyone is saying you do action so well.’ So that was really special for me.”

Vicky Kaushal often speaks highly of his father. He once shared how his father has been an ‘atypical figure’ in the family. He told We Are Yuvaa, “He has tried to make us strong, emotionally. He would openly tell us, ‘I felt humiliated on set today and I came back and I cried to your mom.’ He would say that to us when we were children.”
