Dhruva Natchathiram has been in the making for the past six years, but due to a lot of financial constraints, the film was put on hold multiple times. Gautham Menon revived the project with the money he had earned from his acting stints. However, many parties are yet to get their share from the film. In interviews, Gautham said he is trying to sell the film to an OTT platform and would solve all the issue with the money.

Ritu Varma, Dhivaya Dharshini, Radhika, Parthiban, Vamsi, and Maya Krishnan are also part of the film, which has music by Harris Jayaraj.
