To celebrate Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s latest film Tiger 3 release on Diwali, fans burst crackers inside a theatre in Malegaon in Maharashtra as they watched the film. The incident circulated on social media, prompting Salman Khan to address and criticize the act on Instagram.

In a recent interview with Times Now, the actor labelled the bursting of firecrackers in theatres as “not cool,” emphasising the potential danger and risk associated with it. He admitted that fans were excited for the film’s release, but the act of bursting crackers inside a theatre can be very risky. Addressing his lactose intolerance, he urged fans to discontinue the practice, explaining, “If I drink my stomach gets affected, and if they are pouring milk on my posters, they also get spoilt.”

Responding to the fireworks incident, Salman issued a strong message on social media, urging fans not to carry firecrackers into the theatres. He wrote, “Request all my fans not to take fire crackers inside the auditorium as it could prove to be a huge fire hazard thereby endangering your lives and also others. My request to theatre owners not to allow fire crackers to be taken inside the cinema and security should stop them from doing so at entry point. Enjoy the film by all means but please please avoid this is my request to all my fans .. thank u 🙏.”
