Salman Khan says Shah Rukh Khan is Jai and he is Veeru, suggests Aamir Khan should join the spy universe | Bollywood News

Salman Khan has delivered a big grosser at the theatres after a long time with Tiger 3 and in a recent interview, Salman spoke about how multi-starrers can lead to bigger box office returns as he addressed sharing screen space with Shah Rukh Khan in the YRF spy universe. The two actors are yet to star in a film together but have appeared in significant cameos in each other’s films – Tiger 3 and Pathaan.

Salman spoke about a time in his career when “people would not come to watch my movies” and so he decided to star alongside actors like Sunny Deol, Sanjay Dutt, Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Anil Kapoor and his other contemporaries. “Movies’ collections would double at the box office,” he told Zoom.

Salman said that while the movie stars of the 90s would frequently collaborate with each other, the younger generation stars “won’t be able to do it.” He said, “The younger generation won’t be able to do it, for some strange reasons.”

Speaking about his collaboration with Shah Rukh in the spy universe, Aamir suggested that it would be great if Aamir Khan also joined in. “Here, I did work with Shah Rukh in Tiger 3, and if Aamir gets to do a spy-verse, he will also join in,” he said. When asked about his on-screen camaraderie with Shah Rukh and them being hailed as the modern day Jai and Veeru, Salman laughed and said, “Yes I am Veeru and Shah Rukh is Jai.”

As expected, Salman was asked about the upcoming Tiger vs Pathaan, he only said, “Yes, that will happen very soon, Insha Allah.”
