Tiger 3 box office collection Day 12 early reports: Salman Khan’s film witnesses significant decline, to mint Rs 3.27 crore | Bollywood News

Salman Khan’s much-anticipated action thriller, Tiger 3, experienced a robust opening at the box office, sparking high hopes for a blockbuster. However, after an initial surge, the film’s box office performance witnessed a significant decline. The fervour surrounding Tiger 3 dwindled during its second week, reflecting a struggle.

Industry tracker Sacnilk reported a projected collection of Rs 3.27 crore for Thursday, bringing the film’s domestic earnings to Rs 253.03 crore. Despite marking Salman Khan’s most significant hit in six years, Tiger 3 falls short of expectations, mainly due to its substantial production budget.

While currently holding the spotlight in theatres without competing releases, the impending arrival of Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor, and Sam Bahadur, featuring Vicky Kaushal, scheduled for a December 1 release, poses a looming challenge for Tiger 3. The film also encountered a significant lull during the 2023 World Cup’s finals and semi-final matches, further impacting its box office trajectory. And this shows in its box office numbers. In its 11-day run, Tiger 3 has struggled to surpass the Rs 250 crore milestone.

However, Emraan Hashmi, portraying the lead antagonist Aatish Rehman, an ex-ISI agent in the Salman Khan-starrer, expressed pride in the film’s success. He shared, “It feels great. From what I hear it is Salman’s fastest Rs 200 crore in five days, which is a stupendous feat. Even for the team, it is great validation that we put so much of work into this film, it is such an ambitious project. Even before I stepped in to play the antagonist, they’ve been writing this. The scale of this film — everything had to come together for this film, it was in the making for two-three years. When so many people go and watch your film, it is good validation. There is praise and bona fide collection which speak volumes.”
