American model Ashley Graham shared a recent travel vlog on social media, documenting the 48 hours that she spent in India recently, when she attended the Jio World Plaza launch event in Mumbai. Ashley’s vlog began as she set off for India for the first time, and ended with her thanking the Ambani family for doing an ‘incredible’ job of putting the event together in just two weeks.
Ashley’s India trip coincided with her birthday, which she celebrated en route to Mumbai, and then some more at her hotel. Her trip began with a slight hiccup, as she lost her passport after landing in India, but recovered it a few minutes later. The next day, she participated in a fitting and tried out her saree festooned with ‘uncut diamonds’, and then went to the venue for rehearsals.

At the event, she rubbed shoulders with fellow models, influencers, and several Bollywood celebrities, including Sonam Kapoor and Ranveer Singh. Ashley complimented Sonam on her outfit, and interacted with Ranveer, who introduced her to the viral ‘just looking like a wow’ social media trend. At the event, Ranveer declared that Nita Ambani was ‘just looking like a wow’, much to the amusement of his fans.
Ashley’s social media followers loved the video, and dropped compliments in the comments section. “You look like an Indian Queen in that beautiful handwoven saree with gold cape. Loved your joy and vibrant presence,” one person wrote. “You are so beautiful so elegant just looking like a wow,” another person commented. After returning from India, Ashley tried her hand at replicating the social media trend, and thanked Ranveer for introducing her to it. “@ranveersingh told me to do it!!! In India… just looking like a wow,” she wrote in the caption of a post one week ago.
Ashley ended her video by saying, “And that is a wrap on the most amazing runway show here at the mall. It was absolutely stunning and beautiful. I still can’t believe the whole Ambani put this all together within two weeks. You are incredible, thank you so much for having me.”
